“He will return to sing the role of Eisslinger in Die Meistersinger at the ROH later this year, a role he performed with Bryn Terfel last year for WNO and at the BBC Proms. He will also sing the role of Froh in Wagner’s Ring Cycle at ROH next year. Future engagements include returning to his native Wales this Autumn to sing Kudryash, Katja Kabanova and early next year to sing Steva Jenufa in Tel Aviv.”

Sarah added: “Andrew is also busy closer to home as assistant organist at St Wifrid’s Parish Church and is developing a strong reputation as a singing and piano teacher. His wife, soprano, Jo Appleby also teaches alongside her busy singing career and is the founder of kiddiepie music which Andrew also helps to run. They have one son, William, and are expecting their second child in November.”
