Anger about Argos decision for Bognor

A North Bersted resident has spoken of his anger about the decision to stop Argos opening an out-of-town store.

Former parish councillor Ted Smith said it was a disgrace Arun District Council had imposed restrictions on the use of a proposed store on Shripney Road.

"How can we get something done about the people who decide what is good for Bersted or Bognor Regis? They should be removed from the planning in Littlehampton." he told Bersted parish councillors.

"It really is disgraceful. How can Arun do this sort of thing to us?"
