Annual meeting for twinning group

A chance to learn more about the European links of Bognor Regis is available next week.

The town's twinning association is holding its annual meeting at 7.30pm on Wednesday at Bognor Regis Town Hall.

Information about exchange visits with the three twin towns '“ St Maur des Fosses in France and Germany's Weil am Rhein and Trebbin '“ will be available.

This year will see a visit to Weil am Rhein with which the association has just completed 20 years of friendship.

Details of the association's many social events will also be given at the meeting.

They include barbecues, a quiz evening and a country walk.

A new chairman will be elected there. The current holder of the position, Brian Vaughan, is standing down after two of his expected three years because of other commitments. New members, especially younger people, are welcome. An annual family subscription costs 10.
