As 100 per cent of the pupils picked up at least five A* to G grades, head teacher Leon Nettley called the achievement 'exceptional'.

He paid tribute to the continual progress and consistently high standards his school has set and achieved over the last ten years as he announced 86 per cent of pupils had registered five or more A* to C grades with 81 per cent picking up English and mathematics as well.
