WINTER HOME CHECK: The Winter Home Check service is available throughout the year and could help people prepare for a warmer home next year. This service highlights the support available for people across East Sussex who are adversely affected by the cold especially if they live in houses that are poorly insulated or do not have modern systems of heating. A free Winter Home Check service is available all year round. It's open to people on low incomes who are in certain groups more affected by the cold, including older people, families with young children, disabled people and people with long-term health conditions. This East Sussex County Council service is provided by Osborne Energy.

HIGHWAYS: Road works will be taking place: Until April 1, C340 Wilbees Road, Arlington, BT duct works under two-way traffic lights. Until April 1, C340 The Street, Arlington, BT duct works under two-way traffic lights. On April 13 between 9.30am and 3.30pm there will be a temporary road closure at Cane Heath. A diversionary route will be in place see http://arlingtonparish.org.uk for precise details and a map.

BERWICK PARISH COUNCIL: The next full Berwick Parish Council meeting will take place on Tuesday starting at 7pm in Berwick Village Hall. There will be two meetings that night starting with the full council meeting and ending with the Annual Berwick Parish Meeting. Refreshments will be served on the night and an agenda will be issued nearer the time on the Parish website at: http://berwickparishcouncil.org/ Members of the public and the press are welcome to attend both Meetings.

BLUEBELL WALK: Advance notice of Bluebell Walk, Bates Green Farm, Arlington which will take place on April 19 and 20 in aid of Holy Trinity Church and Upper Dicker Village Hall. To help at the event or make cakes for sale or both, please contact Liz on: 01323 841541.

PARISH ASSEMBLY: Advance notice of the Arlington Parish Assembly which will take place on Thursday April 21 starting at 7.30pm in the Upper Dicker Village Hall.

DOG SHOW: Advance notice of the Dog Show to be held on Sunday, May 1 at noon in Upper Dicker Hall. Entries for classes taken from 11.30am. Lots of classes including fun and novice classes. Refreshments available.
