Arsonists blamed for fishing boat blaze in Littlehampton

FIREFIGHTERS were called to a fire on a fishing boat this morning (Saturday, April 25).

Crews arrived to find the small boat, which was on the River Arun 300 metres north of Bridge Road, Littlehampton, ablaze just after 2.30am.

The fire put out with the help of fire service boats.

No one was on board but it is believed the fire was started deliberately.
