Arundel Lido set to open its doors again

ARUNDEL residents will be able to make a splash on Saturday (May 2) as the town’s open-air Lido opens its doors again.

The Lido is celebrating its 12th summer season and will be open everyday until September 6 – three weeks longer than last year.

And to mark the day, the Arundel & Downland Community Leisure Trust – the charitable trust in charge of running the pool – will be offering free entry for all.

The open day will feature live music and, weather permitting, a barbecue. There will also be a chance to buy a discounted season ticket.

Throughout the season the Lido will run its popular swimming schools. The pool is open 10am to 7pm at weekends and holidays, and noon to 7pm weekdays. For details, see www.arundel-lido.com or call 01903 884772.
