Ashburnham

Ashburnham & Penhurst WI are meeting on Monday March 18 at the Village Hall, 7.30pm. This month, Rhod Jones will be giving them a talk into the history of the Oxo Cube. This months competition is a homemade Easter Card.

The next Coffee Morning is on Monday March 18 in the Church Hall, Ashburnham Place 10:30am - 12pm. You are welcome to go along for a good friendly chat. For further information, please contact Tina on 01424 843728.

The Ashburnham & Penhurst Book Club’s March get together will be at 2pm, March 22. If you would like to read this months book or would like further information on the group, please call Nicky on 01424 892474.

There is a Jumble Sale on March 23, 10am at Ashburnham Village Hall. With Bric a brac, jumble, books and toys, produce and refreshments. Entrance is 50p. All profits going towards the village hall. Any jumble donations, please ring 892674.

The East Sussex County Council Mobile Library service will next be in Ashburnham (by the chapel) on Thursday March 28, 9.50am - 10.10am.

The Chapel are holding an Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday March 30 at the Chapel, 3pm. This will be followed by games and a Bring and Share tea. So that there are enough eggs to go round, please let Faye know how many children and their ages will be attending, please contact Fay: [email protected] or T: 07860 113413. If it is wet, it will be held inside.
