Autumn term WEA courses

The Rye Branch of the WEA (Workers’ Educational Association) is taking books for the autumn term’s new courses for adult learners.

Lecturer David Derrington is returning to Rye with a fascinating 10-week course entitled ‘Schisms within Abrahamic Reilgions’, in which divisions within each of the Christian, Islamic and Jewish faiths are examined and, hopefully, understood.

The first two-hour weekly meeting is on Tuesday 1st October at Rye Art Gallery in the High Street with a 10.30am start.
