CINEMA: the next film to be shown in the Victory Hall on Friday 23 November at 7.30 pm is Christopher Robin starring Ewan McGregor, Hayley Atwell and Bronte Carmichael. The film tells the story of a hard working man who encounters his childhood friend Winnie the Pooh who helps him to rediscover the joys of life. It is rated PG. Tickets £6 from Threads.

RUBBISH FREIGHTER: I would like to offer sincere apologies for the late cancellation of the Rubbish Freighters in October. The St. Catherine’s Hospice Walk was so well supported that it brought traffic and parking chaos to the village and the Risk Assessor deemed that it was too dangerous to let them function that Sunday. We now have an alternative date when one freighter will be available. This will be on Sunday 2 December from 10.00 - 12.00 noon.

REMEMBRANCE POPPIES: We are please to say that most of the church poppies have now been delivered or collected by their owners. The poppies not sold will remain on the bank for another week or so yet. If you do want to buy one before they disappear please call 811833. They are priced at £15 with all profits going to the Royal British Legion.
