Barnham flats plan

Graham Norgate wants to demolish the existing single storey buildings behind numbers 43 and 45 Barnham Road and to redevelop the site, including 47, for residential use.

His scheme also includes a shop at the front of the site.

Mr Norgate’s planning agent, John Bloomfield, says in a statement a noise survey was carried out because of the proximity of the railway line.

He states the report finds the internal environment for the flats is well within the normal design standards for such a use.Twelve parking spaces are proposed – six less than the county council’s guidelines recommend.
