Bars, clubs and halls wanted to help Angmering Sophie

DREAM boys and wrestlers are lining up to help Sophie, but they need venues.

Sophie Nugent’s family is trying to raise £10,000 to take the five-year-old Angmering cerebral palsy sufferer back to the USA for aftercare, following her life-changing operation last year.

Mum, Debbie, is looking for a pub or club in which to hold a ladies’ night, complete with Brighton-based Dream Boys, a drag queen and a disco, at the beginning of August. JWF Wrestling, from Worthing, also wants to help, and has offered to put on a charity match, but needs a hall for the venue.

A mammoth £40,000-plus community fund-raising campaign sent Sophie, who beforehand couldn’t walk on her own, to America for pioneering treatment. If you can help, or are able to donate raffle prizes, e-mail [email protected]
