Bear reportedly spotted outside Horsham supermarket

Residents of Horsham’s namesake in the USA have been warned to keep their distance should they bump into a bear in the town.

The wild animal was reportedly sighted at around 2am this morning (Friday May 30).

Police in Horsham, Pennsylvania said several people have spotted a bear in the rear parking lot of the Wawa store on Route 611 at County Line Road.

The reports sparked a social media storm.

On Twitter, @nickthemailman1 wrote: “I live about 3 minutes away from that Horsham wawa!! I’ll keep an eye out for mr. Bear.”

And @ariesbabe wrote: “that wasn’t a bear in horsham it was my EX bf at wawa. #bearhorsham”
