Beckley

Deborah Ongley, Beckley Main Street

Don’t forget tomorrow Saturday 17th august is the last day you can have your say regarding the very important news for all parents of children using the free bus service to Robertsbridge School and general bus users in this rural area. If the free bus service to Robertsbridge is stopped it takes the right to choose which school children can go to if they can’t afford to pay the fare of around £600 a year. Please fill in the online survey whether you have children at school now or are planning to in the future as this is this service needs to carry on.

Over the next 3 years east Sussex county council needs to find £63 million of savings. As a consequence the council is reviewing a number of it services including how it provides support to the bus services. Please complete the online survey at www.eastsussex.gov.uk/haveyoursay or if you can’t go online call 0345 6080 193
