Bexhill fire fighters attend Rye emergency
Teams from Bexhill community fire station helped deal with the chemical spillage in Rye this week.
On Wednesday an appliance was called out to Rye at 8am and did not return until 7.30pm that evening when a second crew was sent out as relief.
The next day they were called out again at 7am to help continue with the clear up of solvent from the chemical plant in Rye Harbour Road.
