Best known for his work as an impressionist, Davro made his television debut in 1981. In 1983 he made his television breakthrough at Live from Her Majesty’s followed by appearances on the television show Copy Cats. Between 2007 and 2008 he played Vinnie Monks in the BBC One soap EastEnders. He took part in Dancing on Ice in 2010 and Your Face Sounds Familiar in 2013.

Venue spokesman Nathan King said: “We managed to secure Bobby through Joke Club, who provide us with monthly comedy nights. Miles Crawford has lots of contacts and was able to persuade him to come and play Billingshurst. It is always a good night, usually four comedians, two established circuit acts, playing the likes of The Comedy Store and Jongleurs, and two up and coming acts to the circuit, trying out the scene. It is a free entry show, usually you would be paying top dollar to see these acts, but here at The Railway it’s free and in a more intimate setting! Bobby has been on the circuit for many years, with numerous appearances, his own shows, panto, Celebrity Big Brother, just to name a few! It is a true honour to have him here!”
