Castle Inn: All roads lead to Bodiam Castle tonight, March 17 for live music with Jimi and the Jams. Starting at 8.30pm, everyone is welcome. If anyone would like to make a donation to the Bonfire and Fireworks Spectacular in November, there is a bottle on the bar for your cash.

Council meeting: The next full meeting of the parish council is on March 27 at 7pm in the Parish Room.

St Giles: The next service at St Giles is on March 19 at 1.15am and is Holy Communion. There is no Mothering Sunday service at St Giles, but St James has 9.30am Holy Communion and St Marks has 11.15am Holy Communion on Mothering Sunday.

Flix and Pix: Hawkhurst Film and Photograph Festival competition is open to everyone living in Bodiam. The deadline is April 28 for entries with oe very good prizes. For more information phone 752058 or 752367.

Bus Service: It looks like we will have a 349 bus service on bank holiday weekends with four outward and four return journeys. The dates are East Sunday, (April 16), the Sunday preceding mayday (April 30), Spring Bank Holiday weekend (May 28), Summer bank holiday weekend (August 28). A lot of hard work has been put in to raise the funds for this service which will take in Hastings
