Bodiam preschool: the school is very successful but this coming July will lose 15 children, most of whom will join Bodiam Church of England primary school and the preschool is hoping to fill the places. The National Trust: the National Trust is to have a quiz night on June 24 in The Function Room at 6:30 PM. The cost is eight pounds per head and includes a two course meal, drinks and a raffle. Voting: please do go and vote in the referendum on the United Kingdom’s membership of the European Union on June 23. Voting hours are 7 AM to 10 PM and the polling station will be Bodiam Parish Room.

Mobile library: the mobile library will be in Levetts Lane on June 16 from 11.30 to 11:55 AM.

Martin Lawrence: the service for Martin Lawrence will take place on June 13 at 11 AM at Hastings Crematorium and after at Staplecross Village Hall.
