Cricket Fixture: The Cricket Club are away to Winchelsea on the 5th July with a 2.30 pm start. “The crack of bat against ball amid that humming and buzzing of Summer sound is still to me a note of pure joy that raises haunting memories of friends and happy days.” (That is in the fixture book of the club).

Classic Car Show: I am sure it was a very good day for the many who came to the 23rd Senlac Classic Car Show at the Bodiam Recreation Ground and hope Bodiam residents enjoyed the two free pass and it was not too disruptive for them. A big thank you to the National Trust, if it was not for Nick Waterhouse we would have had cars right up to the Bodiam Church of England Primary School. When will the National Trust make Nick part of the management?.
