Bodiam

Sunday Bus: I was told that the Summer Sunday 349 bus service was not to run, it has for a few weeks, but was taken off on the 19th April. Not many people knew that the service was running and Stagecoach will say that it was running light, but some good news Bodiam, is to have a Bank Holiday Service that comes from ESCC, they must be rich!

Bodiam Preschool: Please do not bring your little child to the Bodiam Preschool on the 7th May as the Parish Room will be the Polling Station but I do hope the children will tell Mum and Dad to vote from 7am to 10pm.

A.G.M.: What a very good annual general meeting the Bodiam Community Friends had the election of officers took place, Virginia Gilbert is the Chair with Heather Lewis as Secretary and Tony Sanders as Treasurer. It was good to see two members of the public at the meeting, I did not get their names but I am told they came from Robertsbridge. The date of the next meeting is the 6th May, 6pm at the Castle Inn.
