Claremont Senior School will be singing carols on Monday December 9, meet at the Castle Inn at 6pm, Everyone is welcome.

Today the Bodiam Church of England Primary School PTA is to have a quiz, 7 for 7.30pm. Teams are welcome. Entry is £7, which includes food. Bring your own drink and money for the raffle tickets and make sure that the governors team wins! Have a good time tonight.

Also the school is to have a Nativity performance on December 17 at 2pm in St Giles Church and on December 18 at 6pm and the Christmas fair is on December 19 at 3pm in the school hall. Please support all the events.

Claremont Senior School had a grand opening of the Space Theatre and Performing Arts Centre. This is a fantastic new facility for the students and the local community. For more information please phone 01580 830396.

The services for December at St Giles are the December 15 at 6pm Carols with mulled wine and the best mince pies in Sussex. If you have had carols since August, like me, just come for the mince pies, but please support it, It must not be a silent night.

Christmas Day Holy Communion at 11am and the first service for 21014 will be Holy Communion on January 19 at 11.15am.

Christmas Day the village will have no bus service and Boxing Day and New Year’s Day but the village will have a normal service on the other days before and after Christmas, but not Sunday Services.

FC Westridge, who play at Bodiam Recreation Ground and are in division 6 of the East Sussex Football League are 8th from the top of the table. They have a local derby this Saturday, December 7 at 2pm.
