The competition is a search for the best of Britain's unsigned bands, with 50 successful bands now in the running to win the sought-after album deal.

Drummer Nick Edney, from Bognor, is hoping the group will make it all the way to the grand live final which will be aired on television on December 23.

He said: "The show has given us a huge platform for exposure and allowed us to experience life on the road supporting big name artists, being in front of a camera in high pressure situations and getting advice from some of the biggest names in the music business."

The Bad Robots have played at Bognor venues, the Unicorn and the Alexandra Theatre, and at Chichester College.

Fans of the band can vote for them to win by visiting the band's page on the MobileAct website www.mobileAct.co.uk.

Voting is free and opens at 1.30pm on December 16.
