Bognor leisure strategy to be discussed

A bold blueprint which could see leisure and tourism transformed in Bognor Regis will be debated by top councillors.

Members of Arun District Council’s cabinet will consider the £25m strategy at their meeting on Monday, which could see more than £12m spent in the town.

The ambitious 176-page document produced by consultants, Colliers International, sets out radical suggestions for culture, entertainment and sport. More hotels, better restaurants and state-of-the-art sports facilities are all up for consideration.

The meeting, at the Civic Centre in Littlehampton, starts at 5pm, and is open to the public.
