Bonfire gives backto local good causes
More than £1,000 from last October’s Northiam Bonfire event has been given to good causes.
The street collection was shared by Northiam Seniors’ Club, the School Crossing Patrol and the Mary Shipstone Memorial Fund. Donations were also made to Raynet, Rye and District Lions and St Mary’s Church. Planning has already started for this year’s event. A Race Night takes place in the Rose and Crown on Feb 21, at 7pm.
