BOOKIES' ROBBED

Customers were shocked as the man threatened staff and left hurriedly once the money had been handed over.

Police say the incident happened at about 6.10pm and the robber is believed to have got away from the shop in a taxi.

They say he made off with 360 in cash but confirm although counter staff were threatened no weapon was used.

He is described as a white man, between 40-50, about 5ft 5in tall with olive skin, dirty grey hair and possibly wearing a blue lumber-style jacket.

His left arm was covered with tattoos.
