A boy was taken to hospital in a serious condition after collapsing in Crawley.

Police attended Byrd Road, Crawley, shortly before 00.30am on Friday (October 9) after concerns were raised for the boy, a spokesman confirmed. He was taken to hospital in a serious condition and remains in hospital in a stable condition.

Police are still working to establish the full circumstances of what happened, and to identify if any offences have been committed, the spokesman added.

He said: “Police are currently awaiting the results of tests to determine what may have caused the boy to collapse. Anyone with any information is asked to contact police online or by calling 101 quoting serial 23 of 09/10.”
