BREAKING NEWS: Baby dies after falling ill at holiday camp
A FOUR-month-old boy has died after being taken ill at Pontins in Camber.
Three ambulances and two paramedic cars raced to the resort in New Lydd Road just after 4.30am on Thursday (August 15).
The baby was given emergency resuscitation and taken to the Conquest Hospital in Hastings in a life-threatening condition.
The child later died.
The death is currently being treated as unexplained but not suspicious and has been reported to the coroner.
A post mortem will be held to establish the cause of death.
