BREAKING NEWS: Bognor man charged with son's murder

Police were called to an Aldwick home after it was reported a man had been stabbed.

They arrived at the address in Elbridge Crescent just before 1pm on Saturday, August 29.

South East Coast Ambulance Service (SECAMB) and the air ambulance also attended but paramedics were unable to save the injured man, who died at the scene.

He has been named as 36-year-old Lee Floyd, who lived at the house.

Bob Floyd, 64, of the same address, was charged on Sunday evening (August 30) with the murder of his son Lee. He has been remanded in custody to appear before Worthing Magistrates' Court today, Monday, August 31.

A kitchen knife was recovered at the scene.

DCI Jeff Riley, who is heading the investigation, said: "We would like to speak to family and friends of both Bob and Lee.

Next of kin have been informed but no family statement is expected in the next day or two.
