BREAKING NEWS: Fire at Selsey Academy

Smoke coming from the academy as the fire takes hold

Scores of firefighters are currently tackling a major fire at Selsey Academy this morning (Sunday, August 21).

A spokesman for West Sussex Fire and Rescue Service said 10 fire engines are at the scene after receiving the first call just before 8am.

As a result of the fire, School Lane in Selsey is closed to traffic in both directions between the B2145 High Street junction and the Paddock Lane junction.
