BREAKING NEWS: Firefighters free man in Littlehampton

A MAN had to be rescued by firefighters in Littlehampton today (Saturday, May 23) after falling off a sea wall.

The man fell off the three foot wall near the junction of Pier Road and Clifton Road, Littlehampton, and rolled down a concrete embankment.

Firefighters were called to the scene shortly after 4pm and had to use a basket stretcher to lift the man out.

He was taken to hospital by ambulance.
