BREAKING NEWS: Katy Bourne '˜delighted' to be re-elected as Sussex Police and Crime Commissioner
She finished ahead of Labour’s Michael Jones in a run-off after no candidate finished with 50 per cent of first place preferences.
Ms Bourne took 114,570 of the first preference votes compared to Mr Jones’ 61,017.

Hide AdIn the run off the second preferences from the three other candidates were counted, with Mr Jones taking 25,375 compared to 24,765 for Ms Bourne.
With 139,335 total first and second preference votes Ms Bourne was re-elected.
UKIP’s Patrick Lowe finished third ahead of Lib Dem James Walsh and the Green Party’s James Doyle.
Ms Bourne said: “I am really delighted and hugely privileged and honoured that the public in Sussex have put their faith back in me.

“I look forward to going back to work on Monday and want to deliver on the promises to people who voted for me in Sussex.”
