BREAKING NEWS: Lorry and motorbike in accident on the A27

A lorry and motorbike have been involved in a crash on the A27 in West Sussex this morning (Saturday, April 30).

The accident happened on the Upper Brighton Road in Sompting between Halewick Lane, Sompting, and the A2025 Grinstead Lane, South Lancing.

The road has been closed and traffic is queuing eastbound between the Hillbarn traffic lights and Lancing Manor roundabout.

The accident is also having a knock-on effect on the A24 Warren Road, Sompting.

Emergency services are currently on the scene.

It is not yet known whether anyone has been injured in the crash.
