BREAKING NEWS: MP Amber Rudd promoted in cabinet reshuffle
HASTINGS and Rye MP Amber Rudd has been appointed as Parliamentary Under Secretary of State for the Department for Energy and Climate Change.
Ms Rudd, who was elected in 2010, has been promoted to the position as part of today’s cabinet reshuffle.
Several people have already Tweeted their congratulations, including Conservative East Sussex County Councillor and Hastings Borough Councillor Peter Pragnell, who said: “Many congratulations to @AmberRuddMP, our excellent MP, on her promotion to Parliamentary Under Secretary at DECC. Richly deserved.”
