Charity Concert: Thank you to all of you that went to the Cranbrook Town Band Christmas Charity Concert last Thursday. We all had a wonderful evening and managed to raise £70 each for the Poppy appeal and Brede Village Hall. They will be back on Thursday 7th December 2017 so if you have your new diaries pop it in now so you do not double book or forget and do not forget to tell your friends.

Lights of Love: Although the tree is up and looks wonderful in St George’s Church grounds it is not too late to have a loved one remembered or an anniversary or to wish some one happy Christmas just by giving a donation to Andrew Burchett at Alexandra Cottage Stubbs Lane Brede or at The Farmers Market on Peter’s Apple Juice Stall. The donations will be sent to the Cardiac Unit at The Conquest Hospital as a number of our residents have had to use their facilities this year. The Christmas Tree in the Churchyard will be decorated with lights and a list of dedications will be on a list in St George’s Church

Champions of Brede: That refers to us all and the big draw is coming up and it is also time to pay the annual or bi annual subscription of £1 a month = £12 which can be paid by cash, cheque or through the bank.. It is a wonderful system, set up to help support the ongoing expenses and renovations of the then new Village Hall and it still applies today. Of course through the passage of time some of the original supporters have moved away or passed on. Therefore it is imperative that more join and you will have 12 chances to win some money back as a draw takes place each month, with two big ones in June and December. Telephone Philip Romani 01424 883420 or email [email protected] or telephone Maggie Sandra 01424 883149 as soon as you can.
