Saturday July 13 Holy Communion will be celebrated in St George’s Church at 9am.

Sunday 14July 14 - join in the Eucharist at 9.30am for the Sung Eucharist at St George’s Church Brede then at 11.15am there a Family service for all at St Mary’s Udimore or the Trinity Methodist Church Broad Oak at 10.30am they have . King as the preacher.

Our cricketers drew against Northiam last Sunday, they will be playing against Netherfield in an away match beginning as usual at 2pm. We wish them luck to win.

Between 2.30pm –5pm 2, Bellhurst Cottages mature garden is open to the public. £2 entrance children free, cream teas available. Entrance is via the gate attached to the red brick wall at the far side of number 3, come and meet Chocolate, Fudge and Milky bar and the six young chicken, there is also a small children’s play area. Money raised will go towards the casing of the Church Clock. In the Rainbow Trout this evening from 8pm.Mr Swing – will be singing Ratpack favourites such as Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin etc, this will bring back some reminisces for many people.

Monday July 15 in Brede Village Hall Age UK Daycentre will begin at 10.30am with a coffee break, the day has many activities -nNews, dominoes, Who Am I - and Carol will come and sing after lunch. If there is anyone who can spare an hour or two to help out at the centre Maureen would be very pleased to hear from you, call her on 01424 883282.

The Rainbow Trout has started Monday Madness, which runs all through the day into the evening and includes meals for £5.

Rainbows meet at 4pm and later at 5.30pm Brownies begin both groups meet in the Small Hall.

In the evening in the main Hall at 7.30pm the Whist Players begin their card session.

Beavers are in the Scout Hut at 5.30pm - 6pm. Cubs follow Beavers at 6.30pm – 8.00pm Please Contact Colin Ward Group Leader 01424 852413 if you would like to be a Scout Leader. They would like to start a Scout Group section as soon as possible. Having been an Assistant Scout Leader and Beaver Leader I can honestly say that I would not have done so many lovely activities or had so many opportunities if I had not been one. It also gave me great pleasure and satisfaction helping youngsters to reach their own potential. It is truly time well spent. Guides meet at the Udimore Hall at 7.15pm.

Tuesday July 16 Painting for Pleasure at In Brede Village Hall at 2.30pm.

Wednesday July 17 The Rainbow Trout are offering roast lunch and dinners served. Whilst dining free top ups of tea and coffee available if a copy of the observers village voice article is brought with them. Take away meals are also available.

Thursday June 20. The Stretch and Tone group meet at 9.30am in Brede

Village Hall. The Rainbow Trout Parent & Toddler group meet after the school run about 9am, Breakfasts now runs from 9am and Friday and Saturday breakfast starts at 8am Sunday at 10am.
