Brian and Marion Firman write Our Thanks go to so many kind and thoughtful Brede Church members for creating such a memorable service for our dear daughter Thereas Mizen and for making it so beautiful. Most of all thanking you for the floral tributes, and collection to the Celia Hammond Animal Trust, and for the many lovely cards we received. Knowing Theresa was loved by so many people is a great comfort to us and the Family

Sue has asked me to remind everyone about the Easter Lilies: The cost of the white lilies for Easter this year will be £2.00 per stem. Please let her know (by 15th March) if you would like her to buy lilies or other blooms to be arranged in the Church for Easter on your behalf in memory of a loved one. She continues, please can I have the details of those whom you wished to be included on the ‘In Memorandum’ flower list.

Flower arrangements for a special occasion; If you would like to pay for a flower arrangement in the church to commemorate a special occasion or in memory of a loved one, they would be happy to prepare an arrangement for you.

Flower Fund: Each week the flower arrangements in St George’s are provided and paid for by the Flower Arranging Team. Whilst everyone concerned is happy to continue on this basis we do not want to lose arrangers due to the increasing cost of flowers. Also, flowers are needed for specific Church services throughout the year. Therefore, we are planning to set up a Flower Fund to help with the purchase of flowers where appropriate. Any monetary donations would be welcome!
