Buck's darts fizz still sparkling now he's a Kiwi

FORMER Littlehampton sportsman John "Buck" Ryan has been selected to represent his adopted country New Zealand in an international darts tournament '“ at the age of 70.

Buck, who moved to the southern hemisphere 39 years ago, will play against Australia for New Zealand's Returned and Services Association (RSA), the equivalent of the Royal British Legion.

He qualified by reaching the top 16 of the New Zealand RSA's national championships, held in his home town of Upper Hutt, with more than 100 competitors.
