The high energy group for young children, Musical Meerkats, had a fairly successful first term, at the village hall in Burwash, so much so that Rachel Wright who runs them is to continue with another six week term.

Children up to four can learn how to interact with others through musical instruments and movement.

The Burwash bonfire Society held their annual bonfire and fireworks display last Saturday evening and despite the very cold conditions, more than 200 turned out to enjoy the fun.

There was music to dance to for warmth along with a barbecue, a clown entertained and children came in halloween fancy dress. The fireworks were once again pretty spectacular. thank you to the society for another great evening.
