Chris Chatfield, chief executive of Compass Travel, approached Worthing Churches Homeless Projects earlier in the year to offer his support and see they could work in partnership.
Artist Tommy Nicholson, who had worked with the charity during Worthing Art Trail, volunteered to help and came up with a range of text-focussed designs that challenge the audience while raising awareness of the issues of homelessness in the town.
Rachel Blair, community fundraiser, said: “Tommy’s artwork looks fantastic. The banner highlights the everyday needs of the modern individual, 4G, mobile phones, keys, wallet, and asks the audience to consider their life without these ‘essentials’.
“We are so grateful for the support of Chris and the team at Compass Travel; they have been very generous and we look forward to working with them in the future.
“They saw an opportunity to use their existing resources to support Worthing Churches Homeless Projects. It is wonderful to see a local business actively looking for ways in which they can help people in their own community.”
