Other attractions include a Karate display, the Little Common School Choir, Dance House Uk and Punch and Judy.

Lions Club members volunteered to man the barbecue, which will be serving locally sourced meet and also has vegan options.

Admission is 50p and under 11’s free.

The event is organised each year by the school PTA.

Ebony Varney, from the PTA, said: “We have been very busy and have secured over £3K in sponsorship donations from local businesses.

“This is our most popular fund raising event of the year and provides an opportunity for the entire school and community to come together to raise vital funds for the school.

“We have also received wonderful grand draw donations which are very much appreciated.

“Our objective this year is to raise funds to improve the outside learning areas of our school and refurbish our Foundation year playground.”

Head teacher Linda Appleby said: “We are so grateful to our hard working PTA for organising the event, which takes months of planning and preparation.

“We are delighted that so many local businesses have been able to support us and thank them for their generosity in both money and time.”
