Busy programme for annual Middleton fete

A packed programme of events is promised at Middleton's annual fete and craft fair.

This year's event will take place on July 26 on Shrubb's Field. A dog show will begin at midday, with the afternoon's activities from 1pm.

A car-boot sale is also being held during the afternoon to provide a further attraction.

Proceeds from the fete will be going to meet the ever-rising running costs of the Jubilee Hall in Middleton. The hall has been running for 26 years. Repairs and refurbishment have proved to be very costly for the trustees and have eaten into the hall's funds.
