Butlins submits plans for enclosure by bowling green

Plans to install a leisure-related enclosure in Butlins in Bognor Regis have been submitted to councillors.

The leisure company wants to put up the enclosure between its site boundary along the A259 Felpham Way and the bowling green on the complex.

If it is approved, the enclosure will be a single-storey timber-framed structure and clad with cedar boarding with polycarbonate windows and rooflights.

A statement with the planning application for the enclosure, about 21m long and more than a metre wide, said it was proposed to take account of changing demands of holidaymakers and to update the site's facilities.
