The Moon really did look this big as dawn broke today (Tuesday).

It’s nearly 240,000 miles away, but it appears to be gently sinking into Eastbourne back gardens.

David Bristow, of Kings Close, captured the strange, atmospheric photograph. He said, “The Moon was very low and it appeared just above the houses that I could see as I walked along Kings Drive.”
