Call to build on success of this year’s Arundel Festival for 2014

ARUNDEL Festival organisers are hoping for a good turnout at their annual meeting on Tuesday.

The summer’s good weather helped to boost numbers attending this year’s festival, in August, to more than 40,000 and now the group running the event wants to build on that success in 2014.

The meeting takes place in the town hall, at 7pm, and all those who want to support the event will be welcome.

Co-chairman Ash Kent said: “I would like to ask all the residents of Arundel and the surrounding area to give some thought as to how they could help us to obtain some financial support for next year.”

He thanked sponsors Arundel Brewery, Harwoods, World of Books and solicitors Green Wright Chalton Annis for supporting the 2013 festival.
