Cannabis plants seized during raid

About 140 cannabis plants were seized in a police raid on an address in Rose Green.

The large quantity of the drug was found in a property in Avisford Terrace on Rose Green Road.

A small quantity of suspected class A drugs was also found by the police officers led by PC Gary Stevens.

Inspector Clare McKnight, of Bognor Regis police station, said: "This raid led to a sizeable seizure of cannabis which we are glad is out of circulation."

Two people were arrested in connection with the raid and given bail until September 11.
