The Suzuki Jimny was being driven on the B2102 through Framfield village just before midnight when the window was smashed. The driver pulled up and found that in addition to the rear window being smashed, there was also damage to the front windscreen. However, no projectile was found in the car and there is no indication as to what may have caused it.

The driver was not hurt, but was obviously very shaken by the incident. He did look back and saw who he believed to be a man, but did not see any sign of a weapon.
