Carnival gives to community volunteers
A GROUP of emergency response volunteers are set to receive a £1,000 donation.
Broadwater Carnival, represented by the carnival prince and princess, will present a cheque to Worthing and District Community First Responders at a reception at Worthing Fire Station on Wednesday, November 12. The funds were collected at July’s carnival.
The Community First Responders volunteer to be available for selected 999 emergency calls in their spare time to help members in the community.
