The Home was chosen as one of the charities to benefit from this year’s Broadwater Carnival. Army veteran Harry Molineaux, 103, accepted the cheque.

“It was a real privilege to meet Harry, and hear some of his stories about serving in the army and about his lifelong support for Arsenal - after their win on Saturday, I think our visit was just the icing on the cake for him.”

Next year’s carnival will take place on Saturday, July 19 with a theme of The Magic of the Movies. First Responders; Support Our Soldiers; Baby Buddies; and Breast Care Cancer Support are the charities that will be supported at next year’s event.
