Cash handout in Bognor Regis

Town councillors have agreed to hand out Â£9,000 in grants to good causes which serve Bognor Regis.

The money will benefit 39 groups during the coming year. The largest donation will be 700 to the Number 18 drop-in project in Waterloo Square.

The smallest cheques will be the 50 to Impact Initiatives and Sofas and Stuff.

Other organisations to benefit will be the town's Scouts, Lions, stroke group, swimming club, Samaritans and Konnect detached youth work.
