Christmas Market: Tomorrow is the St Laurence Church Christmas Market in the Village Hall from 10am – 2pm. Father Christmas will be in his grotto for the children and there will be lots of interesting stalls and some challenging games for you to try. There will be opportunities to buy Christmas gifts from the Bathroom Stall, Fancy Goods and others, plus Bric a Brac, Cakes, Plants and Books and a Raffle. Ploughmans lunches will be available and tea and coffee. Entrance is 50p and children free. This is the church’s biggest fundraiser of the year so do please come along and give your support and donations of cakes and goods for the stalls will be gratefully received.

Pantomime!: Only a week to go until the production of the year - the CADS latest pantomime ‘Sinbad and the Big Eruption’! Every year their performances exceed expectations, so get your tickets NOW to enjoy their latest offering on the 4th, 5th and 6th of December in the Village Hall, price £7 and £4.

Catsfield WI: Next Thursday is the WI Christmas party at 2pm in the Village Hall. The entertainment will be from Peter Wilson who will give us ‘Classical Gas – Pop meets Classical Music’. The competition will be for a Seasonal Napkin Ring and teas will be provided by the committee. Don’t forget to bring a gift for the tub priced about £2.

Sport: Catsfield football team had a victory of 4 – 2 last Saturday when they played Pebsham Sibex at home. The goal scorers were Ben Newman 2, Tony Luke 1 and Colin White 1. There is no football scheduled for this weekend.

Mobile Library: The East Sussex County Council’s Mobile Library will be making its fortnightly visit to Catsfield and will be parked in the usual place outside the Village Hall on Wednesday 3rd December from 3.45pm – 4.45pm.
